Three weeks ago, this horse ran a respectable race over a Happy Valley mile despite a slow jump and settling towards the rear. It showed a strong late run, finishing eight lengths behind the winner. After a delayed return to training, it trialled over an extended Happy Valley 1800m. This time, carrying a one-pound weight reduction with good trial times and drawing a favorable barrier, its strength is relatively higher compared to other competitors. Although likely to settle towards the rear, its finishing kick may not be sufficient, making its chances uncertain but still potentially impactful.
