On June 30th (dirt trial 1200m: 3-3-3), urged with two pushes, recovered to take second place. On June 12th (dirt trial 1200m: 5-5-6), held back early and a little irregular, responded to urging in the straight, making up some ground. Seven weeks ago, this horse ran poorly over a Happy Valley mile, slow out of the gate and settling towards the rear but maintaining a steady pace with no finishing kick, finishing fourth. Two trials have shown slight improvement. Making its debut over 1800m at Happy Valley this time without any additional weight, the distance increase is expected to suit. Drawing a good barrier allows for tracking the pace; possesses the strongest finishing kick in the group and looks favorably positioned. Compared to other contenders, it holds a clear advantage in overall ability. Harry Bentley takes the ride, representing a good horse-jockey combination, though trainer-jockey synergy is questionable, and it may need some time to settle into its stride.
