On 3/7, during a dirt trial at Conghua over 1200m (recorded times of 1-1-2), the horse settled comfortably and showed remaining energy. Five weeks ago in a similar race over the same distance, it performed well, settling in a good position tracking the leaders with a strong pace and finishing third, beaten by half a length. A subsequent barrier trial was satisfactory. This time, the horse has a two-pound weight reduction, but faces a unfavorable draw against comparable times within its group. Despite having secured three wins over this distance previously and appearing well-prepared, winning opportunities appear limited.
