Four weeks ago, this horse completed a dirt trial over 1200m (sections 7-7-5), running along the rail and showing stamina. Five weeks ago, he delivered an impressive performance over Sha Tin’s 1800m turf, jumping slowly but finishing strongly in the final two sections with good speed. A recent barrier trial didn't reveal significant improvement. Returning to Happy Valley over a mile this time with a one-pound weight reduction, the horse has previous form over this distance and recorded competitive section times. Drawing a favorable barrier, he’s expected to settle back in the field and utilize a strong finishing kick. Compared to other contenders, his overall ability is higher; however, current conditions are not ideal despite adequate preparation.
