On March 7th, a dirt trial over 1200m at Conghua saw the horse lacking early speed and finishing detached despite being urged on. Six weeks ago in a similar race, performance was disappointing as it settled in a good position tracking the leaders with steady pace but without any notable acceleration. One barrier trial was completed, however, it wasn't fully extended. This time, the horse needs to carry one pound more weight and has shown results over this distance. It’s capable of tracking the leading pace setters and can follow the speed. Drawing a favorable barrier position provides an advantageous setup. Considering its overall strength compared to other horses in the race, even with slower sectionals, a clean jump and commitment to track the leaders should see it improve its performance.
