On September 18th, a dirt trial over 1200m at Conghua saw the horse travel on the outside rail, held in check but showing an easy stride. This is his seasonal debut following one barrier trial which was considered satisfactory. He steps up in class to race over 1400m on turf at Sha Tin this time, carrying six pounds more weight than last run and instructed to settle towards the rear of the field. However, his finishing kick may not be strong enough against rivals. While his sectionals weren’t significantly slower than others in his group, the jockey has limited experience with the horse’s capabilities, despite a good rapport between trainer and rider; he is not considered a leading contender in this race.
