Three weeks ago, this horse ran poorly over a Sha Tin 1200m turf track, with a slow jump and settling towards the rear. He made a mid-race effort but faded in the final stages. Now stepping up in class, he will be tested again over 1400m on the turf, carrying an additional seventeen pounds this time. The horse has previous form over this distance and recorded good times with its group peers. It should be able to secure a good position tracking the leaders; however, despite drawing an outside barrier, it lacks a strong finishing kick and the overall shape of the race is not favorable, although showing signs of improvement in condition.
