On September 16th (dirt trial 1200m: 2-2-2), the horse travelled comfortably in the early stages, maintaining a steady pace. On August 30th (turf trial 1000m: 10-7-2), he settled behind for cover in the initial sections before accelerating over the final two furlongs with good momentum. This is his debut run this season. Two barrier trials have shown some improvement. Stepping up in class, he will again tackle Sha Tin’s 1400m turf track and carries an additional six pounds this time. The plan is to settle back in the field, however, his finishing kick may not be strong enough against rivals. Despite a record of five wins from eleven starts over this distance, the overall section times were competitive, but he has drawn an inside barrier. He appears well-prepared for the race and is showing increased strength at the gate with hopes to secure a placing.
