He finished fourth, beaten three and a half lengths, maintaining a respectable level of performance. Returning to Sha Tin over 1400m this time with a one-pound weight reduction, having previously secured two wins at this distance, and with comparable times in the group, drawing an inside barrier, a hold-up tactic is anticipated, relying on a strong finishing kick – appearing competitive within the field.
