Three weeks ago, over the same distance, the performance was moderate. A slow jump meant settling towards the rear, with a mid-race effort but ultimately unable to close the gap. This time needing to carry five pounds more, and facing unfavorable timing within the group, the situation is challenging. Even with an inside barrier draw, it's unlikely to have sufficient strength for a strong finish this race.
