On September 23rd, (dirt trial 1200m: 6-5-6) the horse was hampered on the straight, and hadn’t been ridden before. On September 8th, (Conghua turf trial 1000m: 3-4-4) a slow jump out but responded to urging. This is the horse's seasonal debut after two barrier trials which showed no improvement. Another turf trial over 1200m at Sha Tin, this time with a 9lb weight reduction and a similar section time to others; drawn an outside barrier. The plan is to settle back in the field, however, its finishing kick isn't as strong as rivals, making for an unfavorable situation despite increased work. It’s unlikely to be competitive this race.
