Having undergone five barrier trials, showing improvement. On 16/9 (Turf trial 1000m: 1-2-1) showed both early speed and finishing kick with increased strength. On 30/8 (Turf trial 1000m: 3-5-9) lacked response to strong urging in the final section. On 14/3 (Happy Valley turf trial 1200m: 1-3-6) faded further when pushed, displaying average strength. On 15/2 (Happy Valley turf trial 1000m: 5-4-6) showed limited improvement after being urged at the 200m mark. Most recently on 7/2 (Dirt trial 1200m: 8-6-9) raced wide throughout and lacked strength in the straight. Returning from a long break, this is his first run of the season. He receives a six-pound weight reduction this time but drew an outside barrier and will need to settle towards the rear. However, his finishing kick appears inferior to rivals, making for an unfavorable situation and suggesting limited chances."
