On August 30th, a turf trial over 1000m saw this horse move gradually outwards in the final 400m under urging. It’s a comeback run after a long break and the seasonal debut. A previous barrier trial showed it struggling to keep pace with the leaders. Another turf trial over 1200m at Sha Tin, now with a one-pound weight reduction, the time was reasonable within its group and drawing a good barrier suggests it can track the speed. It possesses the strongest finishing kick in the group. Karis Teetan takes the ride, having some familiarity with the horse’s capabilities. Despite an unfavorable overall situation and a trainer/jockey partnership that isn't ideal, a clean jump and intention to settle forward should see it finish among the frontrunners.
