On September 26th (dirt trial 1200m: 4-3-6), the horse was slow to jump and unresponsive despite being urged at the 200m mark. On September 19th (dirt trial 1200m: 3-3-8), he showed a good early pace and ran on strongly in the straight. This is his seasonal debut, having shown no standout performances in two barrier trials so far. Making his debut after switching stables, he's stepping up to a dirt mile for the first time. He benefits from a seven-pound weight reduction this race, however the step up in distance appears unfavourable and he’s drawn an outside barrier, posing a challenging scenario, although surprisingly AI models suggest a potential chance, making him an outsider worth considering.
