Three weeks ago, over a Happy Valley mile, the performance was unremarkable. A slow jump saw it settle towards the rear, making a mid-race effort but failing to sustain it to the finish. In a subsequent dirt trial over 1200m, this horse will carry two pounds less weight this time and recorded similar times to its group. Drawing a favorable barrier, it’s expected to track the pace if jumping cleanly, with connections aiming for an improved run.
