On September 18th (Conghua dirt trial 1200m: 5-5-1), the horse showed a promising debut straight run, breaking well and taking control confidently. On September 4th (Conghua dirt trial 1200m: 3-3-1), he settled comfortably in a good position before making a strong move to win convincingly. Returning from a long break, this will be his first start of the season. Two barrier trials have shown slight improvement. Switching stables for this race, he’s trialled over a dirt mile again, now with a 9-pound weight reduction. Although the trial times weren't significantly faster than others in the group, drawing an inside barrier necessitates a hold-up strategy, relying on a strong finishing kick. He appears to be a genuine contender in this race; Angus Chung takes the ride, having some familiarity with the horse’s capabilities, but trainer and jockey combination is not ideal, hoping for a good finish.
