On September 23rd (dirt trial 1050m: 2-2-2), settled comfortably in a forward position. On September 16th (dirt trial 1050m: 1-1-3) showed early pace and led, not extended in the straight. This is his seasonal debut after two trials showing slight improvement. Body weight has decreased significantly by 49 pounds; dropping in class for this race. He will carry 20 pounds more this time, despite having previously won twice at this distance with good times recorded. Likely to settle back in the field and rely on a finishing kick which is strong among his rivals. The horse appears superior in ability compared to other contenders, and trainer/jockey have confidence, however he has drawn a poor barrier, resulting in an unfavorable position. A cautious approach is advised initially.
