CHILL BUDDY

On September 26th (dirt trial 1200m: 5-6-6), the horse showed a determined early pace but lacked an impressive straight run. On September 16th (dirt trial 1200m: 1-1-3), it took an aggressive forward position in third, showing maturity and improvement. Most recently on September 5th (dirt trial 1050m: 2-3-2) it travelled comfortably tracking the leaders with a relaxed stride. This is its seasonal debut after three barrier trials indicating some progress. Switching to a straight course race for its first attempt at this distance, the horse will carry no additional weight but faces an unfavorable track condition. However, securing a favorable barrier draw allows for a forward run; a clean break and a commitment to pace should see it finish among the leaders.
