On October 17th, recorded a strong dirt trial over 1050m (sections 1-1-2), showing increased pace. Three weeks ago, the horse ran impressively over a Sha Tin mile, jumping slowly and settling towards the rear before making a fast run in the final two sections, finishing three and a half lengths behind the winner. A recent barrier trial indicated slight improvement. Switching to Happy Valley for a sprint distance this time, it's a first attempt at this trip. Carrying a one-pound weight reduction, the shorter distance may not suit. An unfavorable draw is anticipated, but the horse’s ability to settle back in the field and strong finishing kick could prove advantageous.
