On October 13th, during a dirt trial at Conghua over 1200m (6-5-4), the horse travelled on the outside rail and showed good finishing speed. Four weeks ago, in a Sha Tin dirt mile, the performance was poor; a slow jump led to settling towards the rear with a steady pace but no noticeable acceleration. A recent barrier trial displayed acceptable form. Returning from a break, this horse ran in its first Happy Valley mile. This time, it benefits from a 3lb weight reduction and has decent past performances over this distance with comparable times to its rivals. Drawing a favorable barrier, the jockey seems to have some understanding of the horse's capabilities. However, a likely rearward position is anticipated, potentially lacking the finishing kick of opponents, resulting in an unfavorable situation and a trainer-jockey partnership that doesn’t appear strong.
