Four weeks ago, this horse ran well over a Sha Tin 1200m, jumping slowly but settling in midfield and finishing strongly to take third place, beaten by half a length. He’s stepping back up to a Sha Tin 1400m this time with only a three-pound weight increase, and although the section times are similar, he drew an outside barrier which is unfavorable. Despite having some form over this distance, maintaining a good position tracking the leaders will be key; he possesses the strongest finishing kick in the field. The trainer and jockey seem to have a good understanding of each other, but isn’t considered a leading contender in this race.
