CIRCUIT HAPPY

On October 18th, this horse recorded a trial over Happy Valley’s 1200m (barrier trials: 2-2-6), tracking the pace in both sections and showing good push and response in the straight. On September 9th, during a dirt trial over 1050m (trials: 6-6-6), he was urged along in the straight with no improvement shown. A further Happy Valley turf trial over 1000m on September 27th saw him (trials: 6-5-3) being driven to regain a position, but then faded back. On September 12th, a turf trial at Conghua over 1000m (trials: 5-3-10) resulted in a slow start and weakening finish. This is the horse’s debut run as a new arrival. He began training at the end of March after arriving in Hong Kong. Four trials have been conducted this season, demonstrating some improvement, with a low stride length suitable for short to middle distances (up to 1400m). However, he lacks stamina and tires easily. This race is his first start, and should be considered a trial run only.
