SIGHT DREAMER

On October 27th, recorded a dirt trial over 1200m with section timings of 5-6-3, running on the outside throughout and showing limited early pace. Three weeks ago, this horse ran respectably over Sha Tin’s 1400m turf, jumping slowly and settling towards the back before making a mid-race move and maintaining a good gallop. He was beaten three and a half lengths in that race. A recent barrier trial showed slight improvement. Making his Happy Valley debut over 1200m this time with a one-pound weight reduction, the distance should suit him, he has drawn a favorable barrier, and is expected to settle back in the field. Finishing kick is a key strength amongst this group of horses; trainer and jockey appear to be working well together and there’s potential for an upset.
