Seven weeks ago, over the same distance, performance was below expectations; led easily but appeared tired in the final stages. Two barrier trials have shown slight improvement. This race requires carrying four pounds more weight than last time, facing a weaker group of opponents, and drawing a poor barrier presents a disadvantageous situation. Despite having some previous form over this distance and the ability to track the leaders, it is likely to follow the pace. Preparation work appears thorough, offering some opportunity.
