FIREFOOT

Two weeks ago, this horse ran very well over a Sha Tin 1800m race, taking the lead and finishing strongly in the final two sections to secure second place, beaten by half a length. Another trial was conducted over a Happy Valley 1800m track. This time needing to carry four pounds more weight, it is in good company with competitive times; it should be able to settle well tracking the leaders, and has a decent barrier draw. Both horse and jockey are working well together, appearing capable of regaining previous form.
