SIR CHARGE

On October 18th, a Happy Valley barrier trial over 1000m showed proactive running style, leading throughout. Four weeks ago in a straight course race, the performance was poor; slow out of the gate and settled towards the rear with an even pace but no finishing kick, resulting in a significant defeat. A subsequent trial indicated some improvement. Another Happy Valley sprint trial followed, this time with a 2lb weight reduction. The plan for this race is to settle back, however the finishing speed isn’t competitive enough compared to rivals and the overall situation is unfavorable. Fortunately, the group's timing wasn’t significantly slower, and the barrier draw is decent, requiring some patience.
