Three weeks ago, this horse ran a respectable race over a Happy Valley 1200m. He was slow to jump and settled towards the rear, maintaining a steady pace but finishing with a late surge. Switching to a Happy Valley sprint distance now, it’s his first attempt at this trip. He benefits from a one-pound weight reduction this time, although the distance isn't ideal. Despite an unfavorable track configuration, he has secured a good barrier draw which provides some hope for improvement.
