PARENTS' LOVE

Last run winner, four weeks ago over the same distance, delivered an exceptional performance leading throughout and still showing a strong finishing kick to secure victory by a length and a half. Stepping up in class this time with a 12-pound weight reduction, having previously won three races at this course and distance, and with good times recorded, it has the potential to lead early. The barrier draw is favorable and the horse's overall strength appears strong relative to its competition. The jockey has some familiarity with the horse’s capabilities, and trainer and jockey appear to have a good understanding. Final work looks good leading up to the race; even with an unfavorable barrier, a clean jump and intention to lead should see it finish in contention.
