On October 18th, this horse recorded impressive barrier trial form over 1700m at Happy Valley (sections: 1-1-1-1), taking the lead and maintaining a strong pace throughout. Five weeks ago, he delivered an outstanding performance over Sha Tin's 1200m turf, jumping moderately but finishing strongly with fast sections in the latter part of the race. A recent trial showed further improvement. This will be his debut over a Happy Valley mile, carrying a three-pound weight reduction. The distance is not ideal and despite an advantageous barrier draw, he's expected to settle back in the field; however, he possesses the strongest finishing kick among his rivals and should be considered primarily as a trial run.
