Two weeks ago, over Sha Tin’s 1400m, the performance was unremarkable; a slow jump led to settling towards the rear. The horse made a mid-race effort but lacked stamina to finish strongly. Now trying Happy Valley’s mile with a two-pound weight reduction, the distance increase isn't ideal and a hold-up tactics are expected again, however, finishing kick is unlikely to be competitive. Despite unfavourable circumstances, the barrier draw is advantageous offering some chance for a place.
