Three weeks ago, over the same distance, the performance was below expectations with a slow jump and settling towards the rear. The horse showed a strong late run but was still beaten three and a half lengths. This time benefiting from an eleven-pound weight reduction, having previously secured two wins at this course and distance, and drawing a good barrier, the plan is to settle back in the field relying on a finishing kick which appears to be its strongest asset. The horse’s form looks solid compared to others and it should not be outclassed; capable of saving energy for a strong finish.
