On November 17th, a turf trial over 1000m at Conghua saw the horse respond moderately with urging (6-6-3). Eight weeks ago, it ran a respectable race over a Happy Valley 1200m, jumping slowly and settling towards the rear with a consistent pace but making ground late. Following a short break, a barrier trial showed unremarkable performance. Making its debut over a Happy Valley mile, this time the horse benefits from a four-pound weight reduction and draws a favorable barrier. The plan is to settle towards the back, with a strong finishing kick expected relative to the group. James Orman takes the ride, demonstrating some understanding of the horse's capabilities, and has engaged in gate work before race day. Despite the distance potentially not being ideal and trainer-jockey synergy appearing limited, it could be worth considering as an outsider.
