On 1/12, a turf trial over 1200m at Conghua saw the horse track close to the rail and pace comfortably. Five weeks ago in a similar race, performance was reasonable; a slow jump led to settling towards the rear, but showed a strong late run, finishing three lengths behind in eighth. One barrier trial completed, but not fully extended. This time, no weight penalty applies, and a hold-up tactics is anticipated, though finishing speed may be inferior to rivals. Despite previous successes over this distance, good times within its group, and an acceptable draw, it's unlikely to be a leading contender in the race.
