On 4/12 (dirt trial 1200m: 5-3-3), the horse maintained a steady third position, showing good stamina. Three weeks ago over the same distance, it ran respectably despite a slow jump, settling towards the rear before making a mid-race move and finishing second, beaten by one and a half lengths. A recent barrier trial showed slight improvement. This time no additional weight is required; a hold-up tactic is planned but its finishing kick may not be strong enough to compete. Despite an advantageous draw and good timing within its group, it lacks the overall strength of other runners in this field and isn’t considered a leading contender.
