On 1/12, a turf trial over 1200m at Conghua saw the horse running relaxed and naturally. Four weeks ago in the same distance, it delivered an impressive performance, jumping slowly but finishing strongly with fast sections to secure fourth place, only beaten by half a length – demonstrating good ability. A recent barrier trial did not reveal much. This time needing to carry 3 pounds more, having won four times from twenty-five starts over this course and distance with competitive sectionals, and drawing a favorable barrier, the horse holds a definite advantage in this race. Trainer and jockey are aligned in their approach; however, even if forced to settle at the back, its finishing kick may not be strong enough against rivals, creating an unfavorable situation overall.
