On December 2nd, a dirt trial over 1200m saw the horse finish fourth after coming from behind at a relaxed pace. Six weeks ago, in a Sha Tin turf mile race, performance was below expectations; a slow start forced it to settle towards the rear, quickening in the second section but maintaining an even tempo without a strong finishing burst. A recent barrier trial yielded average results. Making its debut over Happy Valley 1600m this time, it will carry nine extra pounds, though the distance is suitable and the barrier draw is favorable. Expect a hold-up tactics; showing decent finishing kick, but overall positioning isn’t ideal for a strong challenge. Best suited as a supporting contender.
