On November 27th, the horse completed a dirt trial over 1200m at Conghua with a steady pace and minimal change in position. Four weeks ago, it ran well over a Happy Valley mile, jumping slowly but settling towards the rear, maintaining an even tempo before finishing fourth after a good late run, beaten three lengths. A subsequent barrier trial showed acceptable performance. Another trial over 1800m at Happy Valley saw one pound reduction in weight, but with a poor draw and a weak finishing kick, the horse’s prospects are not favorable despite potentially securing a good position tracking the leaders.
