He made progress in the middle stages but couldn’t sustain it to the finish. Now stepping up in class to race over 1800m at Happy Valley, he benefits from an eleven-pound weight reduction. While possessing some form over this distance, his section times are not significantly better than rivals; drawing a good barrier is positive, and Joao Moreira takes the ride. The horse and jockey combination appears promising, though the anticipated tactic of settling back in the field may be a disadvantage given a lack of finishing speed compared to opponents. Trainer-jockey relationship isn't strong, likely to settle for a trailing position.
