It made a move in the middle stages and finished second after a strong effort from last position, beaten by only half a length. The horse has dropped 28 pounds in weight, carries no additional weight this time, boasts the best time among its group, and drew an inside barrier. The plan is to settle towards the rear again, relying on a powerful finishing kick – which is the strongest in the field. The form looks promising, and given the horse’s ability, it's a strong contender for this race. Zac Purton takes the ride, having some prior knowledge of the horse, and trainer shows confidence in the jockey. Expected to challenge strongly.
