GOOD PROSPECT

Four weeks ago, this horse ran a respectable race over a Happy Valley 1200m, jumping slowly and settling towards the rear but showing a strong late run. He finished fifth, beaten by one and a half lengths. Now stepping up to Sha Tin over 1400m for his first attempt at this distance with a one-pound weight reduction, the conditions aren’t ideal. Drawing an outside barrier, he is expected to be held up. However, his finishing kick isn't strong enough compared to rivals and the horse/jockey combination hasn’t been successful. Despite the jockey change to Luke Ferraris, who has some understanding of the horse's capabilities, it would be best to observe this race first.
