Four weeks ago, this horse ran well over a Happy Valley mile, settling in a good position tracking the leaders with a steady pace. He was overtaken by Lawman but finished second, beaten only half a length. A subsequent trial on Sha Tin turf over 1400m saw him perform satisfactorily and he will carry no additional weight this time. The sectionals were competitive within his group, indicating an ability to keep pace with the leaders. An advantageous barrier draw and a strong trainer-jockey relationship suggest good prospects. Providing a clean jump out, the horse should be able to secure a forward position and contend for a place.
