Four weeks ago, this horse ran below expectations over a Sha Tin 1200m, with a slow jump and settling towards the rear. The pace was steady but showed some late acceleration; he finished fifth, beaten three lengths. Now stepping up to Sha Tin over 1400m for his first attempt at this distance, he will carry an additional two pounds. An increase in distance is expected to suit him, with a strong finishing kick being his main asset. However, drawing an outside barrier is unfavorable, and a cautious approach may be adopted initially.
