On December 22nd, the horse recorded a dirt trial over 1200m with sectionals of 3-4-1, accelerating from the 200m mark to take the win. Seven weeks ago, in a dirt mile race, the performance was below expectations; a slow jump led to settling at the rear but showing good stamina throughout the run. Following a break, a trial showed some improvement. Returning to Sha Tin over 1400m for its first turf start, this time carrying a 3lb deduction, the plan is to settle back in the field. However, the finishing kick was not competitive enough and the current form isn't ideal. The trainer-jockey combination doesn’t appear strong, but it has shown past results over this distance with good times within its group. Zac Purton takes the ride, indicating some confidence in the horse’s ability, improving the chances of a win.
