LEADING DRAGON

Sixteen of the first month (from Conghua turf trial 1000m: 1-1-3), showing very fast speed but lacking concentration. On December 30th (from Conghua turf trial 800m: 1-1-1) took a clear lead with an easy pace, responding well to urging. December 15th (from Conghua turf trial 1200m: 1-1-4) slow start, settled and then led the race maintaining a steady speed after prompting. November 17th (from Conghua turf trial 1200m: 2-2-3), travelled close to the rail with an even pace. November 6th (from Conghua dirt trial 1050m: 2-2-3) tracked in second, finishing kick weakened towards the end. October 28th (from Conghua turf trial 800m: 1-1-4), took an early lead from a mid-barrier position and then eased back. This is its debut as a new horse; started training after arriving in Hong Kong at the end of August last year. Six trials have been conducted this season with promising results, showing a low action and good early speed, with a fighting spirit. A short-distance horse but capable up to 1400m. For this race, it’s its debut run and may not be fully fit yet; plus, drawing a poor barrier is concerning, so expect a late push if at all.
