ALL'S WELL

Four weeks ago, over this same distance, the horse performed well despite a slow start and settling towards the rear. He maintained a steady pace but finished fourth with a strong late run, beaten two and a half lengths. This time, no weight reduction is required, with good timing in the group, and an advantageous inside barrier draw. The plan is to settle back again, relying on a strong finishing kick – which is his best asset compared to others in the field. He appears well-positioned and Craig Williams takes the ride, having some understanding of the horse’s capabilities, expecting a tactical approach.
