Following a series of barrier trials at Conghua, the horse showed a slow start in the 1200m turf trial on November 21st (sections 8-10-9), responding poorly to early prompting. On December 15th, another 1200m turf trial saw a slow break but some improvement with urging (sections 5-5-4). A further trial over 1200m on December 30th showed a gradual recovery after a sluggish start (sections 8-7-5), and the first trial on March 16th was relatively better (sections 2-3-1) with a reasonable response while tracking the rail. The horse commenced training in Hong Kong at the beginning of September last year as a newcomer. Four trials this season indicate moderate progress; displaying a low action and quick foot speed, it's expected to perform well over shorter distances, potentially also suited to 1400m. While showing willingness, it hasn’t yet reached peak fitness, so connections suggest observing its first run to assess its potential.
