Two weeks ago in a race over the same distance, the performance was very disappointing; a slow start saw the horse settle towards the rear. He made a mid-race effort but faded badly and finished poorly. This time with a two-pound weight reduction, facing unfavorable section times and drawing an outside barrier, a hold-up tactic is anticipated. However, the finishing kick isn't strong enough to compete with rivals, making for a disadvantageous situation despite previous successes over this distance.
