Two weeks ago, this horse performed poorly in a Sha Tin 1600m race, taking the lead easily and maintaining a fast pace through the first two sections but fading badly towards the finish. Last start, switched to dirt over a mile for its debut at this distance, it will carry nine pounds more this time. The current distance is unfavorable, presenting a difficult scenario, however, the horse has drawn a good barrier allowing an opportunity to lead. A clean break and willingness to run aggressively from the start should see it secure a forward position.
