Three weeks ago, over this same distance, the horse performed adequately. It jumped slowly and settled towards the rear of the field, making a mid-race move but failing to sustain it to the finish. This time, it has a one-pound weight reduction and has previously won twice at this course and distance; its section times are reasonable. Able to secure a good position tracking the leaders, the preparation appears sound. Despite drawing an unfavorable outside barrier, it shouldn't be underestimated.
