Fourteen days ago, this horse ran well over a Happy Valley 1200m, taking the lead and finishing third, beaten by half a length. It was a solid performance. In a subsequent trial over a short distance at Happy Valley, it was its first attempt at this trip and the track conditions weren't ideal, with a less than favorable barrier draw and limited finishing kick. However, its time figures were still respectable, suggesting potential for an early speed challenge and warrants consideration.
